Torenia fournieri, commonly referred to as bluewings or wishbone flower, is a blooming plant that produces flowers in shades of blue, white, or pink, adorned with yellow markings. Its stem has a natural tendency to grow longer towards the sun, facilitating the transfer of water and nutrients between the roots and leaves. The plant's meristem, found at the top of the stem, is responsible for the growth of new leaves, as well as the development of flower buds which can bloom in a matter of days or take months, and in some cases, even years.
